Room to actually stretch out
I have a bad back and this one has the space for me to stretch out properly, which I enjoy. Lying diagonal like the instructions say made a bigger difference than I expected.

Two colours, one hammock
Identical hammocks. Same 210T nylon, same 150kg rating, same straps and carabiners in the bag. The only decision is what you would rather see hanging in the yard.
Most popularEasy to pick out from across the campsite, and it takes a full summer of dirt without ever looking grubby. Our Most Popular colour.

Team FavouriteBlends into the bush rather than sticking out. The one to pick if you would rather look at the view, than the hammock. Our most subtle design.

About a minute, start to finish
No knots, no tutorial. Four moves and you are horizontal.
Two trees, two posts, a balcony rail, the tow bars on two cars. Anything 3 to 5 metres apart that you could lean on.
10 seconds
Loop each strap around the anchor and thread it back through itself. They grip without biting, which is why parks and campsites allow them.
20 seconds
Clip into whichever loop gives you the height you want. More loops means you can adjust to the comfiest level of sag, instead of guessing at it.
15 seconds
Aim for a gentle curve, then lie slightly diagonal. Nobody tells you that part, and it is the difference between a nap and a sore back.
15 secondsStraps and carabiners are in the bag. There is nothing else to buy.
Why it costs what it costs
We are not doing anything the expensive brands are not. Same 210T parachute nylon, triple stitched at every load point, rated honestly at 150kg. The difference is we did not add seventy dollars for the sake of it. Packs down to about the size of a water bottle, which is the part that actually matters, because a hammock that doesn't fit easily in your bag is a waste of money!

An honest comparison
The established Australian brands make a good hammock and we are not going to pretend otherwise. They match us line for line below. They also charge $139 and up for it. We build to the same spec and charge $70 less, because that's a fair price

The bag is great, so easy to take anywhere when it folds into its own little pocket. Lives in the boot now. Great to support a local business too.

So easy to set up, only takes my kids a minute. Great for lazy days by the pool and I use mine way more than I thought I would.
Logan M.
Ordered one to use on our balcony in Melbourne. I was sceptical about the weight limits but it comfortably holds two adults. The stitching is solid and the carabiners feel heavy duty.
James R.
Took it camping near Byron Bay and it was a game changer. Packs down small, lightweight, easy to strap between trees. Way more comfortable than my old swag for an afternoon nap.

Where a bit of it goes
A portion of every hammock we sell goes to Wildlife Warriors, the Irwin family's organisation. It funds the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital, rescue units, and habitat work.
We spend a lot of time telling people to go and sit outside. It would be a bit rich not to put something back into the outside.
Liam & Tommy, Founders of Dangl
Hang it, lie in it, take it away for a weekend. If it is not for you, send it back within thirty days unused and in its packaging and we will refund you. Picked the wrong colour, say so and we will swap it. Someone actually reads the emails.

Two adults, comfortably. The Roamer is rated to 150kg and lays out at 3m x 2.2m, which is wider than most doubles sold in Australia. One person gets a very generous lie-flat. Two people works best lying head to toe.
Anywhere you have two solid anchor points roughly 3 to 5 metres apart. Customers hang theirs between verandah posts, on balcony rails, off two cars, and on standard hammock stands. The Tree Hugger straps wrap rather than bite, so they will not damage bark or paint.
No knots and no tools. Wrap the strap, thread it through itself, clip the carabiner into whichever loop gives you the height you want. Most people are lying in it inside 60 seconds on the first attempt.
The hammock, two Tree Hugger straps with multiple adjustment loops, two carabiners, and the built-in stuff pocket the whole lot packs into. Nothing else to buy.
Orders are dispatched within 1 to 2 business days, then standard Australian post times apply. Shipping is free on orders over $99, which two hammocks clears. You get tracking as soon as it leaves us.
The 210T UltraWeave nylon is quick drying and resistant to wear, so a shower will not hurt it. It is not designed to live outside permanently though. Sustained UV will fade any nylon hammock over time, so pack it into its pocket when you are done and it will last years.
Yes. Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent, then hang it on the line to dry. Skip the machine and skip the dryer. That is the whole maintenance routine.
Return it within 30 days, unused and in its original packaging, and we will refund you. If you simply picked the wrong colour, message us and we will swap it.
A portion of every Dangl sold goes to Wildlife Warriors, founded by Steve and Terri Irwin, which funds the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital, rescue units, and habitat and species preservation work.
Purely taste. Identical fabric, identical rating, identical hardware. Red is easier to spot across a campsite and hides dust better. Green disappears into the bush if you would rather the view stayed the hero.
