30 days to change your mind

Hang it, lie in it, take it away for a weekend. Not for you? Send it back within 30 days unused and in its original packaging for a full refund. Wrong colour? We will swap it. Dispatched tracked within 1-2 business days.

What you are getting

The Dangl Roamer is a double camping hammock built to be carried, not stored. It weighs under a kilo, packs into its own built-in pocket, and lays out at 3m x 2.2m with a 150kg weight rating, so two adults fit without anybody hanging off the edge.

The fabric is 210T UltraWeave parachute nylon. Breathable, quick drying and resistant to wear, which is what lets it be this light without stretching out after a season. Triple-stitched seams at every load point.

Tree Hugger straps and carabiners come in the bag. Wrap, thread, clip, get in. No knots to learn and no bark damage, which is why they are welcome in parks and campsites. Most people are lying in it inside 60 seconds on the first try.

There is a built-in gear pocket for a drink, a phone and your keys, and the whole hammock stuffs back into it when you are done.

Why it is built this way

Nothing clever. Just no markup.

Most hammocks force a trade. Cheap ones are light but stretch and fray. Heavy duty ones hold weight but live in the shed because nobody wants to lug them. We chose 210T UltraWeave parachute nylon because it is the one fabric that solves both: a triple-stitched double that carries 150kg yet packs down to the size of a water bottle and weighs under a kilo. A hammock you leave in the boot is a hammock you actually use.

Same hammock. Less money.

We are not going to pretend the established Australian brands make a bad hammock. They do not, and they match us line for line below. They also charge $139 and up for it. We build to the same spec and price it at $69.99, because we would rather sell two.

What people say

4.9 average from 100+ verified buyers

Room to actually stretch out

I have a bad back and this one has the space for me to stretch out properly, which I enjoy. Lying diagonal like the instructions say made a bigger difference than I expected.

Packs into its own pocket

The bag is great, so easy to take anywhere when it folds into its own little pocket. Lives in the boot now. Great to support a local business too.

Held two of us with no drama

I was sceptical about the weight limits but it comfortably holds two adults. The stitching is solid and the carabiners feel heavy duty.

Better than my swag for a nap

Took it camping near Byron Bay and it was a game changer. Packs down small, lightweight, easy to strap between trees.

My kids set it up themselves

So easy to set up, only takes my kids a minute. Great for lazy days by the pool and I use mine way more than I thought I would.

Feels like proper Aussie quality

I use mine regularly at the park. Sturdy, easy to carry, and it looks good. Feels like Aussie quality rather than something thrown together.

Before you buy

Questions we get

If yours is not here, send us a message and a person will answer it.

How many people can it actually hold?

Two adults, comfortably. The Roamer is rated to 150kg and lays out at 3m x 2.2m, which is wider than most doubles sold in Australia. One person gets a very generous lie-flat. Two people works best lying head to toe.

Where can I hang it if I do not have trees?

Anywhere you have two solid anchor points roughly 3 to 5 metres apart. Customers hang theirs between verandah posts, on balcony rails, off two cars, and on standard hammock stands. The Tree Hugger straps wrap rather than bite, so they will not damage bark or paint.

Is it hard to set up?

No knots and no tools. Wrap the strap, thread it through itself, clip the carabiner into whichever loop gives you the height you want. Most people are lying in it inside 60 seconds on the first attempt.

What comes in the bag?

The hammock, two Tree Hugger straps with multiple adjustment loops, two carabiners, and the built-in stuff pocket the whole lot packs into. Nothing else to buy.

How long does shipping take?

Dispatched within 1 to 2 business days, then standard Australian post times apply. Shipping is free on orders over $99, which two hammocks clears. You get tracking as soon as it leaves us.

Will it survive being left out in the weather?

The 210T UltraWeave nylon is quick drying and resistant to wear, so a shower will not hurt it. It is not designed to live outside permanently though. Sustained UV will fade any nylon hammock over time, so pack it into its pocket when you are done and it will last years.

Can I wash it?

Yes. Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent, then hang it on the line to dry. Skip the machine and skip the dryer. That is the whole maintenance routine.

What if I change my mind?

Return it within 30 days, unused and in its original packaging, and we will refund you. If you simply picked the wrong colour, message us and we will swap it.
